I can't help snacking ... What do you do to help stop it?
DRINK A TON OF WATER!! Most of the time you’re not actually hungry, either bored or dehydrated. Water will fill you up. If you still can’t, get out of the house. Sitting around when you know you have access to food is just tempting. You don’t even have to go out and exercise (but you should!), just drive around or meet up with friends.. anything to get your mind off of the food! :)
Hi i saw that you are doing the 24 day challenge. I'm starting it next week and do you notice yourself slimming down or is it just building more muscle? Im very curious because I just want to lose fat. Thanks
It’s a little bit of both! I can definitely tell that I’ve lost fat in my stomach. It’s a lot more toned. Not as toned as I want it to be, but I’m only on day 9. My legs and arms are more toned as well, but I didn’t have a lot of fat in those to begin with. But my stomach I have definitely lost fat!! It also cleanses your system, which is super healthy for you. I would for sure try it out! It has made me feel amazing so far.
4 days complete! I feel amazing. It’s been so hard to not go out with my friends when they get pizza or ice cream, but it’s so worth it. Only 4 days in and I’ve lost 4 pounds! Plus, the energy I have is incredible. I actually have motivation to work out. LOVE THIS DIET.
I started a new diet today called the 24 Day Challenge. It involves a cleansing of your body and eliminating all of the harmful toxins, taking a bunch of vitamins and such, eating healthy, and exercising. It is really only 24 days, but to keep the weight off I will need to actually change my lifestyle and eating habits. This diet is really more of a kickstart to weight loss. I will be tracking my progress and explaining what I’m eating/doing throughout my 24 day journey :)
Today and for the next two days I wake up in the morning and mix this energy drink, take 3 pills that help muscle growth and give you energy, and mix a fiber drink. For breakfast my options are the Advocare meal replacement shake, oatmeal with raisins, or scrambled egg whites. Later I get a midmorning snack of either apples with almonds, Advocare snack bar, or deli turkey meat. 30 minutes before lunch I have my second energy drink. For lunch I can choose from a list of meats such as chicken and turkey and some veggies. I get a mid afternoon snack of either a small piece of fruit with my choice of protein from a list they gave me, berries, or an Advocare snack bar. For dinner they gave me a steak salad recipe, a salmon teriyaki recipe, or I can choose meat from a list and add 2 servings of veggies. Before bed I take 3 herbal cleanse pills.
As far as exercise, they recommend 45 minutes of upper body strength training on Monday and Friday, 45 min lower body on Wednesday, and 20 minutes of high intensity cardio on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Sunday is a rest day!
I’ve completed my first day and I feel great. I had so much energy today. The meal plan isn’t hard to follow at all. For the most part, the drinks aren’t bad either. This morning I struggled getting down my breakfast because I was so full from the drinks when I woke up though. I did have to stop myself from going to get a snack after supper because my body is so used to eating before bed. All in all, I love this diet so far. I’m hoping it stays this easy for the next 23 days! My goal is to lose around 10 pounds! I’ll put up measurements and my weight tomorrow! Stay healthy, everyone! :)
